The checklist, itinerary builder, and cover-letter generator are free with no catch. We earn a commission when you click through certain links and complete a purchase with our partners — hotel search links and insurance comparison links. Every one of those links is labelled with a disclosure line right next to it, wherever it appears on this site.

Hotel links

Every hotel link on this site is a real, free-cancellation search on the partner's own site, filtered to your dates and destination. We never generate, display, or imply a fake booking or confirmation — you always search and book directly with the hotel partner, and you can cancel per their normal policy.

Insurance links

DocsForSchengen does not sell travel insurance and does not give insurance advice. Any insurance link on this site takes you to an IRDAI-licensed aggregator's comparison page, where you compare and buy directly from a licensed insurer. We may earn a referral fee if you complete a purchase there — that's the extent of our involvement.

What we never do

• Fabricate or display fake flight tickets or bookings.
• Send fake or speculative VFS appointment-slot alerts.
• Sell insurance or tell you what insurance to buy.
• Hide or bury a disclosure on an affiliate link.
